Strengthening Organic Systems (SOS) was founded to improve the resilience and overall integrity of global organic supply chains. Our MISSON is to support the implementation of the Strengthening Organic Enforcement (SOE) Rule, the largest update to the U.S. organic regulations since it was implemented in 2002. The GOAL of SOS is to assure authenticity of organic products, protect organic businesses from organic fraud, and maintain consumer confidence in the USDA organic seal. We were founded by leading experts in organic compliance, fraud prevention and supply chain traceability and we are the only advising firm focused entirely on organic fraud prevention and supply chain integrity.

What We Offer

USDA’s new Strengthening Organic Enforcement rule requires all certified organic operations to develop an Organic Fraud Prevention Plan and maintain practices to verify the organic status of suppliers and products in their supply chain. SOS offers the following key services:
