Sally Keefe operates her own business, skFigures that provides consulting servies to agriculture and food businesses and math and economics tutoring to elementary and secondary students. Sally Keefe’s extensive organic agriculture experience has allowed her to develop expertise in the complex agricultural regulatory environment; in organic crop, livestock and handling certification and regulation; and in the details of dairy production, processing and distribution. She was Vice President of Legal & Government Affairs for Aurora Organic Dairy from 2007 to 2012. In this capacity, she directed the company’s legal, regulatory and legislative activities in both the organic and dairy policy arenas. She joined the company as Supply Chain Director in 2003, and was subsequently promoted to Vice President, Supply Chain, managing customer service, logistics and milk balancing. Prior to 2003, Ms. Keefe worked for Horizon Organic Dairy in both the milk procurement and operations areas. Before entering the organic dairy field she worked as an environmental economics and policy consultant. Active in her community, Sally served on the Boulder Valley School District mathematics strategic plan action design team in 2014. She is a parent volunteer for Boulder Junior Cycling, a youth sports program that inspires, coaches and develops junior cyclists. Sally served as a member of the Colorado Department of Agriculture’s Organic Certification Advisory Board from 2007 to 2012.
